Eligibility for Confidential Assistant 2026

Candidates applying for the Confidential Assistant post must satisfy both the educational and technical qualification requirements prescribed by Kerala PSC.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess a B.A., B.Sc. or B.Com. degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.

Technical Qualification

Candidates must also have passed Lower Grade Typewriting and Shorthand in English and Malayalam, such as KGTE/MGTE or another qualification recognised by the Government as equivalent.

Candidates claiming an equivalent or higher qualification may be required to produce the relevant Government order or other supporting documents when requested by the Commission.

Confidential Assistant Age Limit

The prescribed age limit for the post is 18 to 40 years. Candidates should have been born between 2 January 1986 and 1 January 2008, with both dates included.

Candidates belonging to eligible reserved communities can avail themselves of age relaxation according to the applicable Kerala PSC rules. The notification also specifies conditions relating to age concessions for eligible provisional employees of the concerned organisation.

Confidential Assistant Salary

The Confidential Assistant post carries a scale of pay of ₹20,000 – ₹45,800. Selected candidates will receive the salary and other benefits applicable to the post under the rules of the Kerala Livestock Development Board Limited.
