Kerala PSC Fireman /Firewoman 2026 Exam Date

The Kerala PSC Uniform Recruitment notifications are usually issued once every year or based on the availability of vacancies. In most years, notifications for uniformed services are released in the month of December.

The previous Fireman/Fire & Rescue related notification was released on 29 December 2023, and the examination process for that notification has already been completed. Since the rank list validity for uniform posts is one year, a fresh notification was anticipated once the existing list neared expiry. Accordingly, the Fire and Rescue Officer notification (Category No. 551/2025) has been released in December, and the application process has begun shortly after the notification.

After the completion of the application process, Kerala PSC will announce the official examination date through its website and candidate login profiles.

Fire and Rescue Officer Exam Date – Latest Update

As per the current schedule and recruitment pattern followed by Kerala PSC, the Fire and Rescue Officer examination (Category No. 551/2025) is expected to be conducted in the middle of 2026, tentatively during the months of June–July 2026.

Earlier, based on unofficial reports, the Fireman examination was expected between April and June. However, considering the notification date, application timeline, and PSC exam scheduling, the exam is now more likely to be held by mid-2026.
