This is a district-based selection process. Candidates can apply to only one district. Each district will maintain a separate rank list, and appointments will be made based on merit, reservation, and availability of vacancies notified later.

Bachelor’s Degree in Malayalam or its equivalent from a recognized university
B.Ed. or B.T. in Malayalam from an institution recognized by the Kerala government
Higher Qualifications Considered:
Master’s Degree (MA) in Malayalam with B.Ed./B.T.
B.A.Ed. from NCERT’s Regional Institute of Education (with Malayalam specialization)
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Requirement
Must have passed Kerala TET (K-TET) Category III for HSA positions
Exemptions from K-TET:
C-TET, NET, SET, M.Ed., M.Phil., Ph.D. holders are exempt
