Candidates appearing for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2025 must secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks (cut-off) to be declared KTET qualified. These cut-off marks are decided by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan and vary based on the candidate’s category. Qualifying the KTET is mandatory for applying to teaching posts in Kerala, though it does not guarantee appointment.
The KTET examination is conducted for a total of 150 marks in each category.
General category candidates must score 60% marks, which is 90 out of 150.
OBC, SC, ST, and PH candidates are given relaxation and need 55% marks, equal to 82 out of 150.
Candidates who meet the cut-off will be awarded the KTET Eligibility Certificate.
