The Kerala Public Service Commission has officially released the cut-off marks for the LSGS 2024 Mains Examination, which was conducted on 09 November 2024. These cut-off marks determine the candidates who are shortlisted for the final stages of the selection process.
General Category: 60 marks
OBC Category: 55 marks
SC/ST Category: 50 marks
The cut-off marks indicate that the competition level was quite high, with a large number of well-prepared candidates appearing for the exam. The balanced difficulty level of both Paper I and Paper II also contributed to maintaining a moderately high cut-off.
Even a small difference in marks played a crucial role in deciding the rank, making accuracy and consistency important factors for success.
These confirmed cut-off marks clearly show that candidates aiming for future LSGS exams (2026–2027) should target scores well above 60 marks to stay on the safer side. A strong preparation strategy, regular practice, and multiple revisions will be essential to outperform the competition.
