Calcium carbonate or lime as their major constituent called calcareous rocks. Other chemical classifications are Silicious rocks where silica is the major constituent. Eg - Sand stone Quartzite etc. and Argillaceous rocks where clay or alumina is the major constituent. Eg - Slate, Laterite etc.
