ഇതൊരു Assertive sentence ആണ്. Subject ൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence ആണ് Assertive sentence. Direct Speech ൽ Past tense (said ) + Simple past tense(V2) വന്നാൽ Indirect Speech ൽ വരുമ്പോൾ അത് Past perfect ( had + V3) ആകും.
