Pants, Jeans, Leggings, Trousers, Shirts, Pyjamas, Shoes, Socks, Chappals, Sandals, Scissors, Spectacles, Binoculars, Police, People, Poultry, Public, Personnel, Staff, Clergy, Cattle എന്നിവക്ക് ശേഷം plural verb എഴുതണം.
ഇതൊരു Passive voice ആണ് അതിനാൽ ഉത്തരം 'were' ആണ്.
