Active voiceൽ subject + will/shall + V1 + object വന്നാൽ അതിനെ passive ലേക്ക് മാറ്റുന്ന വിധം: object + will/shall + be + V3 + by + subject. ഇവിടെ object ആയിട്ടു 'this work' എഴുതണം. subject ആയിട്ടു 3rd person വന്നതുകൊണ്ട് അതിനു ശേഷം 'will' എഴുതണം (I, we വന്നാൽ shall എഴുതണം). അതിനു ശേഷം 'be' എഴുതണം. അത് കഴിഞ്ഞു complete ന്റെ V3 form ആയ completed എഴുതണം. അതിനു ശേഷം by എഴുതണം. active voice ലെ subject 'I' passive voice ലേക്ക് മാറുമ്പോൾ 'me' ആകും.
