The two pillars of Gandhian philosophy are truth and non-violence.
Truth
Gandhi believed that truth is the basis of morality and that it is God. He believed that truthfulness in words and deeds is important.
Non-violence
Gandhi believed that non-violence is active love and the opposite of violence. He believed that non-violence should be extended beyond physical harm to include emotional, psychological, and societal violence. He believed that conflicts should be resolved through dialogue and understanding, rather than aggression.
