The Vaikunda Malai is located in the Kanyakumari district of Tamil Nadu, India.
More specifically, it is situated near Athala vilai, and it forms part of the Mahendragiri Hills in the Western Ghats.
This hill holds religious significance in the Ayyavazhi religion. During the festival of Ayya Vaikunda Avataram, devotees undertake processions that circle the hill, and a Jyothi (flame) is lit at its peak to symbolize the birth of Vaikundar.
