National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC)

• NCDC is Successor to National Cooperative Development and Warehousing Board - 1956

• Formed as recommendation of AIRCSC. 

• National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC) was formed as a result of a recommendation from the All-India Rural Credit Survey Committee (AIRCSC)

• By passing NCDC Act 1962 

• It is not a cooperative society.

• It is a statutory corporation under Ministry of Cooperation for the promotion non-credit cooperative sector.
