While the student initiates the transfer request through their digital ABC account, the final authority lies with the destination institution. This institution reviews the credits based on its own course structure, curriculum, and credit requirements. Once the receiving institution (destination) approves the redemption/transfer, the credits are formally accepted and applied to the student's new program, completing the process through the ABC's single-window mechanism. The source institution's role is primarily to have already deposited the verified credits into the student's ABC account.
