Understanding the Email Fields
When sending an email, you generally have three options for where to place recipient addresses. Each serves a different privacy and communication purpose:
To: Used for the primary recipients of the email. Everyone can see these addresses.
CC (Carbon Copy): Used for people who need to stay "in the loop" but are not the main action-takers. Everyone can see these addresses.
BCC (Blind Carbon Copy):
Privacy: The recipients listed in the BCC field are invisible to those in the "To" and "CC" fields.
Anonymity: BCC recipients cannot see each other’s addresses either.
Security/Professionalism: It is used when sending an email to a large group of people who do not know each other (like a newsletter) to prevent their private email addresses from being shared with strangers.
