Indo Islamic style (Sultanate - Mughal architecture)
- A new style of architecture developed during the Sultanate period known as the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. Arches, domes, and minarets were the notable features of this style.

- The Qutab Minar was first such building. The construction of the Qutab Minar was started by Qutbuddin Aibak, but was completed by Iltutmish
