Kishangarh school of Paintings
In the second quarter of the 18th century, the most enchanting school of Rajasthani painting emerged in Kishangarh under the patronage of Raja Savant Singh (1748–1757 AD), who composed devotional poetry dedicated to Krishna under the pen name Nagari Das.
The exquisite miniatures from this school are attributed to the artist Nihal Chand.
Kishangarh painting is especially renowned for the iconic Bani Thani style.
