Why "Monitor" is an Output Device:
An output device is any piece of computer hardware equipment which converts information into a human-readable form.
The Process: The CPU processes data and sends the result to the monitor.
The Result: The monitor displays that data as text, images, or video for the user to see. Therefore, the information is "coming out" of the computer.
