Verbs which have the past or the present form are called finite verbs.

Here the scientist already discovered so ' to have + v3 ' ( to  have discovered ) is used .
 
Things already done is stated by perfect infinitive.

'wandering' is a gerund . Before gerund possessive adjective is used .

Talking is a gerund. Before a gerund possessive adjective is used ( eg: possessive adjective of Ramu is Ramu's  )

In negative sentence and interrogative sentence , if dare and need comes after that only base form of the verb is used .

Eg:- Don't you dare come back again ?

Desirous is a adjective .
After desirous preposition used is 'of '.
After preposition ing form of verb is used .
Eg : The duke is desirous of meeting you .

How to is used to say in what way or manner; by what means.
Eg : she knows how to teach.
 He knows how to ride .

Hardly is a negative word .
If 'need' comes in a negative sentence , after need we should use bare infinitive( base form )
Eg :- She hardly need help her .

If ' with a view to' comes in a sentence, after that  we should ing form of the verb.

Eg : These measures have been taken with a view to increasing the company's profits.

Here, talking about past action so past participle( reached )  is used . 
Present participle ( reaching ) is used in simultaneous action.

Enjoy എന്ന വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം verb  ന്റെ ing form ഉപയോഗിക്കണം .
Eg : I enjoyed writing this article.

'stop' എന്ന  വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം verb + ing  ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു .

Insisted എന്ന വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം വരുന്ന preposition 'on' ആണ് .

'Confidence' എന്ന  വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം വരുന്ന  preposition 'in' ആണ് .
'Confident'  എന്ന  വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം വരുന്ന  preposition 'of' ആണ്

ഇവിടെ Gerund (verb + ing )   ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.

Prefer, give up, dislike, stop, busy, keep, finish, enjoy, avoid, suggest എന്നി വാക്കുക്കൾക്  ശേഷം  gerund(verb + ing ) ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു .

Gerund നു മുൻപ്  ഉള്ള  noun ഓ pronoun ഓ  possessive case ൽ ആയിരിക്കണം . 

Possessive pronouns: mine, your, his, her, its, ours, theirs

'Like' എന്ന വാക്കിന്  ശേഷം 'to + infinitive' ചേർക്കണം .

Agree , aim, appear. attempt, care, choose, claim, consent ,decide, decline, demand, determine, endeavour,
expect, fail, happen, hope, long, manage, neglect, offer, plan, pretend, promise, refuse, seem, threaten, wish, want, vow എന്നിവയ്ക്  ശേഷം  object ആയി  'to + infinitive' ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു .

Enjoys + verb + ing
