Educational Qualification:

Basic Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must hold a degree in Mathematics or Statistics as the core subject, along with a B.Ed. or B.T. in the relevant subject from a university recognized by the Government of Kerala.

Higher or Equivalent Qualifications:

• Postgraduate Degree: Candidates with a postgraduate degree (Master’s) in Mathematics or Statistics, along with a B.Ed. or B.T. in the relevant subject, are also eligible.

• BSc.Ed Qualification: Holders of a BSc.Ed degree with specialization in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the NCERT Regional Institute of Education, Mysore, are considered eligible

Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) Requirement

• Candidates must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET), Category III, which is mandatory for HSA positions

Exemptions from K-TET:

• Candidates holding any of the following qualifications are exempt from passing the K-TET:

  • C-TET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test)

  • NET (National Eligibility Test)

  • SET (State Eligibility Test)

  • M.Phil.

  • Ph.D.

  • M.Ed.

• Minimum Age: 18 years

• Maximum Age: 40 years
