KTET-1 Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

• Passed Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 45% marks.

  • SC/ST and differently-abled candidates are eligible with minimum 40% marks.

Professional Qualification (any one of the following):

• Completed a 2-year Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) conducted by the Board of Examination, Govt. of Kerala.

• Completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) recognized by NCTE.

KTET-1 Exam Date & Shift Timing

The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) for Category 1 and Category 2 is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2025.
