The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) Category 3 Mathematics exam is intended for candidates who aspire to become Mathematics teachers for Classes VIII to X in government and aided schools across Kerala. This specialization requires strong subject knowledge in core mathematical concepts along with sound pedagogical skills. The exam evaluates a candidate’s ability to teach Mathematics effectively at the upper primary and high school levels.
As per the official notification issued by Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, the KTET Category 3 Mathematics exam will be conducted on August 24, 2025, in the morning session from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The examination is designed to assess candidates in key areas such as:
Child Development and Pedagogy (specific to the age group of 11–14 years)
Language skills (Malayalam, English)
Mathematics (subject-specific content and pedagogy)
With the exam date nearing, candidates are advised to focus on revising mathematical theories, solving practice papers, and improving time management skills through mock tests.

The KTET Category 3 Mathematics Admit Card will be available for download from August 14, 2025, via the official website – https://ktet.kerala.gov.in. Only candidates who submitted their applications during the registration period (from July 3 to July 10, 2025) will be able to access their hall tickets. To download the admit card, candidates must log in using their Application ID and Date of Birth.
The admit card will include the following key information:
Candidate’s name
Roll number
Exam date and time
Category (Category III – Mathematics)
Exam centre address
It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid photo ID proof (such as Aadhaar card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) to the exam centre. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
All applicants are strongly advised to read the instructions printed on the admit card carefully and report to the exam centre well before the mentioned reporting time to avoid any last-minute issues.
