The Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) conducted the Last Grade Servant (LGS) examination for Company, Corporation, and Board institutions under Category No. 609/2021. The OMR-based written test took place on May 17, 2023, and the shortlist for the same was officially released on September 29, 2023.
Unlike district-level recruitments, this was a statewide selection, and hence, no single cut-off mark was published. Instead, candidates were shortlisted based on their performance in the OMR examination, following which they became eligible for the next stage of selection.
The recruitment followed a shortlist-based procedure, where only the register numbers of qualified candidates were included in the published list.
Shortlisted candidates were invited for further rounds, which included a cycling test and document verification.
Female candidates and differently abled (DA) applicants were exempted from the cycling test as per PSC norms.
The final ranked list for appointment would be prepared after all stages of verification and testing are completed.
Since the shortlist did not disclose marks or ranking positions, a specific cut-off score was not announced by the Kerala PSC for this category. The shortlisting was entirely merit-based and conducted in accordance with the Commission’s standard procedures for statewide recruitments.
