A6 km/hr

B8 km/hr

C6.5 km/hr

D6.4 km/hr

Answer:

D. 6.4 km/hr

Read Explanation:

Solution: Given: Total distance = 150 km Total time is taken = 15 hours Formula used: Speed = Distance/Time Calculation: For starting 10 hours travelled with 11.8 km/hr. Distance = Speed × Time ⇒ 11.8 × 10 ⇒ 118 km Remaining distance ⇒ 150 – 118 = 32 km Remaining Time ⇒ 15 – 10 = 5 hours Speed to travel 32 km in 5 hours ⇒ 32/5 ⇒ 6.4 km/hr ∴ Speed to travel remaining distance is 6.4 km/hr.
