"Education is the manifestation of perfection already in men" is a quote by Swami Vivekananda, an Indian religious reformer who introduced Hinduism's Yoga and Vedanta to the West.
Vivekananda believed that education should bring out the perfection that already exists in each person. He viewed perfection in both a spiritual and practical sense:
Vivekananda also believed that the existing education system did not teach people self-confidence and self-respect, nor did it help people stand on their own. He was a forerunner of the idea of "Sarva Shiksha Mission" or "Right to Education".
