Her parents and relatives considered Sneha as unintelligent because

Read the following passage and answer the questions that follow. Sneha's parents were doctors who always led a busy life. As leading doctors in reputed hospitals, they had a hectic schedule that prevented them from sparing time for their only daughter. It was her grandfather who gave Sneha company. What Sneha loved about grandpa was his peculiar style of narrating stories and adventurous events in his life. The prime years of his life were spent mostly on travelling and trekking, especially, exploring the wild. Thrilling stories of rare encounters with wild boars and bisons in the Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary, tigers in the Wayanad forests and even majestic lions and lionesses in the Gir National Park were nail-biters for Sneha Because of grandpa's influence, she grew up reading magazines and watched television channels that specialised in documentaries on wildlife. After finishing her higher secondary education, Sneha declared to her parents that she wanted to be a wildlife photographer. It was more like a bolt from the blue for the doctor couple. All hell broke loose when the girl insisted upon following her dream and passion to make her career in wildlife photography. Her grandfather was no more by that time and there was no one to support her. Her repeated requests and hunger strike did not prove to be fruitful and she had to concede to her parents decision of attending the entrance examination for a course in medicine. She failed miserably in the entrance examination and was branded by her parents and relatives as one who lacked smartness and intelligence. In spite of all the objection from her family, she joined a graduate course on Mass Communication and Video Journalism Son after graduation she started her career as a wildlife photographer, with an international magazine. Grabbing opportunity after opportunity, she slowly scaled the ladder of success Passion and patience rewarded Sneha with the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award that won her name and fame. Her parents realised at that point that it was not right to restrict a child from following his or her passion
