Answer:

C. 5 : 3

Read Explanation:

Solution:

Calculation:

Let present age of A = 15x years ad B = 8x years

According to ques,

15x+88x+8=1710\frac{15x+8}{8x+8}=\frac{17}{10}

150x+80=136x+136150x+80=136x+136

⇒14x=136−80=56

x=5614=4x=\frac{56}{14}=4

∴ The ratio of the ages of A and B after 10 years from now = 15×4+108×4+10\frac{15\times{4}+10}{8\times{4}+10}

=7042=5:3=\frac{70}{42}=5 : 3

∴ Required  ratio = 5 : 3
