Dengue
A vector-borne disease transmitted by the bite of an infected mosquito. Symptoms include a sudden onset of high fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, and a rash. Most cases are mild, but severe dengue can be life-threatening. There is no specific treatment for dengue, but pain medication can help.
Chickenpox
A disease caused by the varicella-zoster virus. There is no cure for chickenpox, but a vaccine is available that is about 90% effective. To prevent the spread of chickenpox, avoid close contact with people who have it, and disinfect surfaces they may have touched.
