The myScheme platform was developed, is managed, and is operated by the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).
Role of NeGD: NeGD is an independent business division of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). Its primary role is to drive and support e-governance projects in India.
Collaboration: NeGD collaborated with other ministries and departments, both at the central and state levels, to aggregate and integrate thousands of government schemes onto the myScheme platform. This makes it a central hub for citizens to find government benefits.
Goal: The ultimate goal of myScheme, managed by NeGD, is to simplify and democratize access to government schemes, promoting a more transparent and citizen-centric approach to governance.
