The Cochin State Manual, published in 1911, is a detailed record of life in the Kingdom of Cochin, covering its social, economic, and historical aspects.
It was put together by C. Achutha Menon, who worked for the Cochin Devaswom (religious institution).
The manual is similar to British district manuals and gazetteers, which documented various regions during the British rule in India.
