Sankhya means “empirical” or “number.” It explains creation in a manner where the implicit becomes explicit and where there exists neither production nor destruction. Kapil Muni was the founder of Samkhya Philosophy and it is the oldest orthodox salvation. Salvation can be achieved through real knowledge.
