Procedural memory: Stores information about how to do things, such as driving a car, brushing your teeth, or swimming. It's a type of nondeclarative memory, which means it's the nonconscious acquisition of motoric sequences.
Implicit memory: Includes procedural memory and things learned through conditioning.
Declarative memory: Stores information about the route you have to take to get somewhere.
Procedural memory allows us to perform ordinary tasks without having to think about them.
