The KTET 2025 examination was conducted over two days in September 2025. On September 18, 2025, the examination was held for Category I and Category II candidates. The remaining categories were conducted on September 19, 2025, during which Category III and Category IV (Language, Specialist, and Physical Education teachers) appeared for the test.
Regarding qualifying criteria, the KTET examination was conducted for a total of 150 marks. Candidates belonging to the General category were required to secure 60% marks, equivalent to 90 marks, to qualify. Candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PH categories were given relaxation and needed to score 55% marks, which is 82 out of 150. Candidates who scored equal to or above the prescribed cut-off marks are declared KTET qualified.
Lifetime Validity: KTET eligibility certificate is valid for life.
No Negative Marking: Incorrect answers carry no penalty.
Mandatory Eligibility: Required for LP, UP, HS, and HSS teacher posts (qualification does not guarantee appointment).
