The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) Category 3 Physical Science exam is designed for candidates aiming to become Physical Science teachers for Classes VIII to X in government and aided schools across Kerala. This subject includes core concepts from Physics and Chemistry, and requires candidates to demonstrate both strong subject knowledge and effective teaching methodology suited for adolescent learners.
The Physical Science paper under Category 3 focuses on scientific reasoning, application-based understanding, and pedagogy. It evaluates a candidate’s ability to make scientific concepts engaging and understandable for students in upper primary and high school levels.
As per the official notification from Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan, the KTET Category 3 Physical Science exam will be held on August 24, 2025, in the morning shift from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The exam will assess candidates across the following sections:
Child Development and Pedagogy (with focus on the 11–14 years age group)
Language Skills (Malayalam and English)
Physical Science (subject-specific content in Physics and Chemistry, and science pedagogy)
With the exam date fast approaching, candidates are encouraged to revise key scientific concepts, solve previous years' question papers, and practice mock tests to enhance speed and accuracy.

The KTET Category 3 Physical Science admit card will be available for download starting from August 14, 2025, on the official website – https://ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates who registered between July 3 and July 10, 2025, can download their hall ticket by logging in using their Application ID and Date of Birth.
The admit card will contain important details such as:
Candidate’s Name
Roll Number
Exam Date and Time
Category (Category III – Physical Science)
Exam Centre Address
It is compulsory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) to the exam venue. Entry will not be allowed without these documents.
Candidates must also read all instructions printed on the admit card thoroughly and are advised to reach the exam centre well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute confusion or delays.
