Spanning several Indian states and neighboring countries, the Himalayas are known for their diverse ecosystems.
The Western Ghats
Located along India's western coast, the Western Ghats are home to a variety of habitats and endemic species.
The Indo-Burma region
This region in northeastern India is home to lush tropical forests and high levels of endemism.
The Sundaland
The Andaman and Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal contribute to the Sundaland hotspot.
