Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to the endosulphan victims who are severely affected, disabled and bedridden. Endosulfan is a chemical which is widely used as pesticides and insecticides for cashew plantations. This lethal pesticide sprayed on the cashew plantations was absorbed in the soil and the stream, which severely scarring the lives of many people along the cashew plantation area of Kasaragod District.
