Let the efficiency of Gita is 100% then the efficiency of Sita will be 200% Ratio of efficiency of Sita to Gita = 200% ∶ 100% = 2 ∶ 1 Let Work done by Sita and Gita in a day be 2x and x respectively So, total work done by Sita and Gita together in a day = 2x + x = 3x Total work done by Sita and Gita together in 15 days = 3x × 15 = 45x Time taken by Sita to complete the work = 45x/2x = 45/2 Time taken by Gita to complete the work = 45x/x = 45 Required difference = 45 – 45/2 = 45/2 days
