The Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) September 2025 has been successfully conducted by the Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan. KTET serves as the mandatory eligibility benchmark for candidates aspiring to apply for Lower Primary (LP), Upper Primary (UP), High School (HS), and Higher Secondary (HSS) teaching posts in Kerala.
Candidates who qualify KTET become eligible to apply for future teaching vacancies notified by the Kerala PSC and other recruiting bodies.

The KTET 2025 examination was conducted over two days in September 2025. On September 18, 2025, the examination was held for Category I and Category II candidates. The remaining categories were conducted on September 19, 2025, during which Category III and Category IV (Language, Specialist, and Physical Education teachers) appeared for the test.

Regarding qualifying criteria, the KTET examination was conducted for a total of 150 marks. Candidates belonging to the General category were required to secure 60% marks, equivalent to 90 marks, to qualify. Candidates from OBC, SC, ST, and PH categories were given relaxation and needed to score 55% marks, which is 82 out of 150. Candidates who scored equal to or above the prescribed cut-off marks are declared KTET qualified.
Lifetime Validity: KTET eligibility certificate is valid for life.
No Negative Marking: Incorrect answers carry no penalty.
