ഇതൊരു Imperative Sentence ആണ്. Verb ൽ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ Auxiliary verb ൽ ആരംഭിച് അവസാനം full stop ൽ അവസാനിക്കുന്നെ ആണ് Imperative Sentence.
പെട്ടെന്ന് Imperative Sentence നെ മനസിലാക്കാൻ :
1. Please/kindly എന്നിവയിൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence കൾ.
2. Let ൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence കൾ.
3. Do not ൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence കൾ.
4. Verb ൽ ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന sentence കൾ.
ഇത്തരം ചോദ്യങ്ങളിൽ Reporting verb ആയിട്ടു ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നത് Requested, Begged, Ordered,
Commanded, Forbade, Advised, Suggested, Instructed, warned etc എന്നിവയാണ്.
ഇവിടെ 'Please' question ൽ ഉള്ളതുകൊണ്ട് reporting verb ആയിട്ടു 'requested' ഉപയോഗിക്കണം.
Direct speech ൽ തന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ചോദ്യത്തിന്റെ sense ക്ലിയർ അല്ലെങ്കിൽ report ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ said to നെ told/asked ആയി convert ചെയ്യണം.
Reporting verb നു ശേഷം 'that' ഉപയോഗിക്കരുത്.
Report ചെയ്യുമ്പോൾ Tense നു മാറ്റം വരുത്തരുത്.
Negative Sentence നെ report ചെയ്യുന്ന വിധം: Subject + Reporting verb + Object + not + to + balance.
He + requested + me + not + to + open the door.
